International Conference "Survey of Mongolian aquatic ecosystems in a changing
climate:
Results, new approaches and future outlook”. The Conference will be held in the Puma Imperial Hotel
in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia between 7-10 April 2010.
This conference will focus on discussing the findings
and results, sharing experiences from the fresh water ecosystem surveys in
different regions of Mongolia,
and presenting new approaches or innovative methods of scientific research.
Conference participants will also take in part the
discussions, which will be cover the major gaps and uncertainties of ongoing
research programs and methods,
proposing an effort to prioritize future aquatic
ecosystem research in Mongolia.
The
program will include keynote speeches, oral presentations and poster sessions, and
additional post-conference one day field excursion will be organized.
